My personal rating is a 1, if that. However, it is well written, great pictures, and fairly concise recipes. Just a little more "fru-fru" than I was expecting. Kind of like The Deer Hunter meets Jaime Oliver.
If after killing your wild beast, you think you will sit down at a white cloth covered table, under a tent, complete with bottle of wine...then this cookbook is for you! If you just wanted some quick easy recipes for your "meat & potatoes" hunter hubby, skip this one!
