A great beginning to the Pembroke trilogy. It will be fun to learn how the hero's brothers will fulfill the terms of their father's will. I liked the connection between hero/heroine, and the story wasn't full of angst but rather a nice flow of discovery and love.

I really enjoy the Pembroke Palace series, even though the premise is a bit farfetched. Especially this book, and book #2, The Mistress Diaries.
