This is the 2nd book in the series and I anxiously went into as soon as I finished the first one. Now I have to wait to receive the 3rd of the series. These are Jan' first books and I will be looking for more of her writing.

I really loved this book! Willow Springs in the second novel in the Troublesome Creek series by Jan Watson. Cooper has married and left her beloved mountains for a city life of wealth and privilege. She has a terrible time until she starts helping her new doctor husband in his office. She finds joy helping people with her new skills. This book ends sadly, but it is well worth reading. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Follow-up to the Troublesome Creek book. Story picks up with Copper's move to Lexington from her beloved mountains as she adjusts to married life and all that is expected of a "proper" lady. The relationship grows with her husband and her new community. Delightful story. One more book in the series. Good plot lines; Christian literature but not preachy.
