I just finished this book, and it was fantastic! You can't seem to get enough, and I was so mad when it ended. I just couldn't get enough.
Beautifully written. Very relatable, about a girl who is head over heels for a boy that couldn't care less. But when he needs her most, she steps up for him, doing everything in her power to shield him with love... but love might not be enough this time.
Wonderful book for young adults and older.

This was one of my favorite books as a young adult.

Lauren has always been in love with Spencer. In junior high, they were best friends. When they reached high school, however, Lauren was labeled a geek, while Spencer became one of the hottest guys in school.

Suddenly, Spencer withdraws from his popular crowd and takes back up with Lauren. She is thrilled--until she discovers Spencer is hiding a dark and tragic past. Will Lauren be able to save Spencer from himself? The answer will surprise you.

It was a good book, not one of Mary Downing Hahns' best, but a good book nonetheless. If it would have had a little more Spencer's POV I would have given it five stars, but since it didn't, I'll stick with four stars.
