My first book in this series and I thoroughly enjoyed. Marti is investigating the murder of a teenage girl; a foster daughter of a man with political ambitions. It appears at first glance that the murderer is their foster son but Marti and her partner, Vik, just don't think it fits. I enjoyed getting to know Marti and her family and the rest of the characters, even the bad guy. :)
