Futuristic romance from Imajinn Books. The people of the planet Valtaire are dying out, because thier women rarely birth females, and most women die in childbirth. Abby is called to assist the lead researcher studying this problem. The ship crashes on the way to Valtaire, and her pilot breaks thier society's laws, in order to keep Abby alive. Thus begins the romance between Abby and Traveen. The couple defy the laws of the planet, in order to be together. I found this book to be imaginative, and well written. There is a sequel, and I can't wait to read it. Abby and Traveen build a new life together, but Valtaire still faces extinction. Worth a credit.
