Cindy Woodsmall knows how to write a book! and I love her writings about the Amish- she makes the characters more real than other authors, who seem to portray the Amish as a sterotypical group of people.
However, this book has too many words! It was five chapters into the book before much has happened- so many thoughts, clashes, wonderings-... the ending was good- setting us up for the next in the series, but it takes a long time for us to experience it.
