A lovely Regency romance between a typical Lord and a feisty vicar's daughter. The storyline wasn't afraid to deal with the seamier side of society and I enjoyed the introduction of quite a few interesting characters. I'm sure the author will be writing about those characters in future books. My only qualm is that everything is resolved very quickly in the last 15 pages of the book & it's kind of numbing. Note to author: resolution is more satisfying if the reader has time to digest it.

I enjoyed the storyline and the characters, they were well developed and interesting. I did think that alot of ground was covered over and over a bit too much and really did not add anything other than more pages to the book.
Good plot development, lots of twists, questions and not many answers so you kept turning the page.
