I found this category and started reading comments on various books.  I have always had a fascination with witches and vampires, and really didn't think there were so many authors who had written about them.  I have read many of the Charmed series, a significant amount of Anne Rice, Circle of 3 by Isobel Bird, and many of Nora Roberts books that deal with para normal.  Then, I find this section on PBS, find a couple authors I want to try, and next thing I know, my wish list is bigger and I spent some money at half price books to be able to start right away in case I couldn't get the books I wanted from PBS.

And the list appears to be getting longer as I read more authors and more of your posts.  Anyone have any characters/authors you love??

Elena from the Bitten serires Kelley Armstrong...my favorite...Maybe b/c it was my 1st series???  Actually I like a lot of characters from this series!

Jesse....Author Richelle Mead...Helle's Belle...new series and loved the book...fun!

Zoe....in Wraith by Phaedra Weldon...thought it showed promise as a new series

Dante in the Dante Valentine series by Lillith Saintcrow...While it wasn't the "perfect" series, definately worth the read

Cassandra in the books by Karen Chance...again you can tell she is a new author but I loved the concept!

Milagro in the Casa Dracula series by Marta Costa...not too deep, a great fun, summer read.  You could place the author Katie McAlister here too.

I'm still playing catch up in the paranormal genre too...I just started reading these types of books this past Christmas...and I too am an addict!  If I think of any others I'll let you know!

I haven't read the Sherrilyn Kenyon series yet but the blurbs I have do sound intriguing about "Ash".  I definately like "Sinclair" of the "Undead series" by Mary Janice Davidson.  I am also currently digging "Carlos Riviera" in the Vampire Huntress series.  Currently in book three of the Vampire Huntress series.  I'm sure I will find others as I am getting caught up on my paranormal reading.

I recommend the Blood Hunters series by Jennifer St. Giles.  Excellent!  First book was of Jared and Erin's story.  Second one is Aragon and Annette.  Really a great twist on this series! There's more to  come (yep already traded, so get them on your wishlists!)
