This is just my observation and vent - the thread is not very accurate. I've been watching it now for about a month now and I can't tell you HOW MANY books that people portray as wishlisted are not.  What's up with that?

One that immediately caught my eye is A Certain Justice (paperback) by John LesCroat - do you know there are at least 10 copies (plus that) in the system?  Now the hardback is wishlisted but NOT the ppb. So don't list it on that thread. It's misleading.

I've even seen 1st to Die by James Patterson on that list. I mean, c'mon folks - there are dozens of copies of that in the system. It must be BOTH a wishlisted book AND a different ISBN number to be be on that thread - not simply a different ISBN number.

Let's be a little more careful when we post the books no matter how enticing it might be to embelish. If folks can readily order multiple copies of the book, it's not a wishlisted book. It's got me so I simply look at it to see who's doing the embelishing instead of really looking at something I might be intereste in.

More:

The Guardian - Nicholas Sparks; Good Night Nobody and In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner, Jemima J by Jane Green; Sam's Letters to Jennifer, another by Nicholas Sparks.

All are readily available in paperback and hardback. I just ordered Jemima J - two people, for whatever reason, have one version of a hardback wishlisted but there are nearly 10 other copies both HB and PB available in the system - those two people don't mean it really should be on this thread.

It's irritating not to really know if something is wishlisted or not and have to wade through the mountains of books that aren't really wishlisted.

Thanks - vent over! :)
