Read this book and had to request the others from the series from Book Swap. A long line is forming. Kittredge has developed her characters, and gets them into interesting dilemmas. I like her stories with the (now) promoted police Lieutenant: magic, werewolves and Nocturne City and recommend this series to others who enjoy this genre.

The best book I have read in months. I enjoy Luna, she made me laugh outloud. Her new assignment as head SCS is already on the line and she is busting her butt to get the job done. The cast of supporting characters is amazing. She even has two love interests. Can't wait to read the next book in the series

Every book in this series improves on the last. Luna isn't helpless. She isn't dependant on her man to rescue her. She is clever and has talents that help her solve crimes. She's finally getting a decent love interest, and the book is enjoyable to read from cover to cover.

This is my favorite of the four in the series I have read. The dialog is witty, crisp, quick and believable. Some of the interactions between characters had me laughing out loud. The storyline was easy on the brain as well - not so super far flung as the third edition. Lucas shows up in this edition and does play a sexy role (minor) in this book. We are introduced to a new character, Will Fagen, as well and no spoilers here - you will have to read the book. Other recurring characters as her squad have some good roles and we learn a bit more about some of them. Based on reviews for the fifth installment, I may just end the series here since I think this edition will be hard to beat.
