The Wives of Henry VIII Author:Antonia Fraser The six-week New York Times bestselling history of the legendary six wives of Henry VIII--from an acclaimed biographer. "Admirably succeed(s) in bringing to life the six women who married England's ruler. . . ."--New York Times Book Review. 16 color plates. 32 pages of illustrations.
A great resource on Henry and the wives. Antonia Fraser gives interesting perspective and tried to be as balanced as possible. I'd also recommend Alison Weir's book by the same name to read afterwards for a slightly different angle, especially on the Katherine of Aragon/Anne Boleyn situation.
Fantastic book detailing the 6 wives of Henry VIII and the events leading up to their marriages and demises. Told in a story like fashion, this book is easy to read and accurate with many references from the historical documents to back up the information. I could not put this book down!
