reviewed Wolf Whistle on
.....very interesting with many twists, turns and film noir aspects.....
Yet, the author still managed to convey the absolute horror of what happened to Emmett Till.

This book certainly is "different." The author takes a well known story and spins it with some bizzare characters--who remain totally believeable. Sureal at points, the story flows with humor and pathos. I was not aware of this author until I ran into this at a thrift store. I plan to explore his other novels because this one had me laughing with a tear in a my eye. Try it!
