I enjoyed this book very much. I thought it was miraculous how an author can take one tiny incident and spend a whole book on it. At first I thought I was going to be bored with so much introspection on one tiny incident, but as I continued to read, I grew more and more fascinated with the central character. I have never before read a book where the characters have no names but are referred to by their occupations. I thought this was really unique. I am looking forward to our Book Club discussion on this book at the end of July 2010.
