This book contains many short sexual fantasies written by different women of all ages and backgrounds. Nancy Friday compiled the fantasies from interviews and letters received. The nice thing about this book is it can be opened at any page. You do not need to read the fantasies in any particular order to enjoy them. Some will appeal to you and some will not. Some of the fantasies will be offensive to some people. This was a New York Times bestseller, and I recommend it highly.

Friday's absorbing update of her 1973 classic My Secret Garden demonstrates the intervening empowerment of women by exploring the changes in their sexual fantasies.

this was an interesting read. very interesting insight on the sexual fantasies women have and why, categorized by type and/or subject matter of the fantasy. included in each sections are several fantasies submitted by women that fit in the category.
