I wasn't sure at the beginning, but I really enjoyed the uniqueness of the storyline, twisting fairy-tale qualities into a romance novel.
A new take on Hansel & Gretel? Almost, except that Hanson & Gretchen are two mischievous children who do everything they can think of to prevent the local witch, Matilda Candy, from falling in love with the man who's come to her for a love potion that will cause his worst enemy's daughter to fall in love with HIM, thereby granting him his revenge against the man who made his childhood near-unbearable. Luckily, the children's attempts are futile and Matilda's love potions work only for herself and her beau.
