Delightful story of a young girl and her first dog, getting involved in local crime. I love the characters and the dog is delightfully doggish.

Nice start to this series. If you're a fan of Chet, you'll be a fan of Bowser. And Birdie is a great character. Fun setting, too.
This book is great fun. Bowser and Birdie have a great adventure as they become acquainted. Since it's told from Bowser's viewpoint....well, you can imagine the opinions of this smart canine. Remember, you don't want to be around when he's "feeling bitey". Highly recommended.
