I'm compiling some questions for an upcoming author interview on my site and I was wondering what are some questions you like to ask authors? I want to start catering my interviews to the readers so leave a reply with anything that would interest you to know.

I always like to know what inspires their stories.  Especially prolific authors, how do they come up with so many different stories and scenerios.  Do they take things from their real life, from the news, from tv?

I also am pretty curious about the actual writing process.  Do they have a strict schedule they stick to?  Just write when inspired?  Stay up all night writing?

Also, do they have a favorite among the books they've written?  Do some of their stories speak to them more than others?

Is there a formula for coming up with character names or do they just randomly pick them?  It seems you see the same ones again and again lately.

I hear you about the names - but that's what happens with real life too. Suddenly everybody is a Brittany and a Jason or a Susan and a Michael.

Thank you Sherri and Sarah for the questions!

One of the things I like to ask is how an author defines love and what they think makes a great bedroom scene.
