At last, an author who doesn't showcase a young, svelte PI with a wonderful man waiting in the wings. These books about Clara Gamadge, a grandmother, are quick reads. M'ann

Cozy mystery fans will love this book. An endorsement on the back cover reads, "A charming contemporary mystery in the classic mode," and I couldn't agree more. The author, Eleanor Boylan, is the niece of Elizabeth Daly, who wrote the Henry Gamadge series. Eleanor's series takes up after Henry's death and his wife, Clara, becomes the amateur sleuth. Plot, characters and setting all combine to make this an enjoyable read.
