This wonderful, beautiful book has large, clear text with a great fluid rhyme to it, lovely inclusive images of all kinds of families (young, old, straight, gay, multi-racial and multi-generational), all painted against a backdrop of what sure looks like the Santa Barbara area. We have loved this bedtime story since our son was just a couple of months old, and it is still one of his favorites now, at almost 3. Of course, because of its mellifluous cadence, he knows it by heart.
