Wrapped Green Beans

  • 3-4 Cans whole green beans -
  • 1 lb. bacon-- cut strips in half -
  • 1 stick butter -
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder -
  • 1 Cup light brown sugar (packed) -
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce -

Place bacon between sheets of paper towels and microwave just long enough for some of the grease to come out, but still plyable.  Wrap 8 or 9 beans at a time with bacon.  Place bundles in a 9x13 baking pan.  In a bowl melt butter.  Mix in garlic, brown sugar and soy sauce.  Pour over beans.  Bake at 350 for 30-35 min.  Depending on your oven, check beans a little early to make sure they don't over cook.

Why ruin something healthy like green beans? Butter, bacon and brown sugar---Yikes!!
