A great resource! Every parent whose child has an IEP should read this book. It's written in clear, simple language without a lot of technical jargon. This book makes IEPs, which are complicated and intimidating, understandable and free from fear. The authors quote the relevant legal sections if you need additional reference material. The book covered just about all the questions I had about quality IEPs. I loved the question and answer format. This book is a keeper. I can't part with it. I recommend you get the companion book From Emotions to Advocacy: The Special Education Survival Guide as well. The two books when read together provide a wealth of information.
