When a Judge is murdered in the manner that Jolie, a mystery writer, had described in her "as-yet-unpublished" novel...the whole town of Purple Sage thinks she is guilty. She had shared her work with her writer's group, why would anyone frame her?!
The author blends humor, suspense and well-developed characters in this modern version of a "Agatha Christie type" mystery.
Anyone who has belonged to a writer's group, or even a book club, will especially enjoy this "cozy."

From back of book:

When a judge dies after a public argument with aspiring writer Jolie Wyatt, she naturally feels a little guilty. But when the folks of Purple Sage learn that the judge was murdered by the same method Jolie devised for her whodunit...the whole town thinks she is guilty.

Now Jolie must turn her talent for creating murder into solving one. Her suspicions fall on her writer's group. Did one among them hate her enough to frame her?

Battling a teenage son, an ex-husband and a town circling like vultures, Jolie's feeling the heat. Especially when a killer decides to fuel the plot by adding another corpse// Jolies's to the mystery.
