For the last two years, Mike Archer and Gabby D'Angelo have been the objects of their elderly landlord's matchmaking efforts. So far neither has made a move on the other. When an Angel tries to answer the landlord's prayers, Gabby's car is stolen. Mike assists her in calling the police. The police show up saying they found her car and her baby. Gabby sees a hospital bracelet on the baby's arm with her name on it. Mike knows Gabby did not give birth in the last few days and tries to get to the bottom of the situation. Soon the two of them are taking care of baby Carol and becoming a family.
