I just printed out the mailing label for a paperback book that should cost $2.13 to mail. The printed mailing label says $4.51! I checked the books editing and the weight listed there is .35 pounds. I have not weighed it myself, but it is a small paperback. Anyway, I'll mail it using the correct price, probably the cheaper 1st class rate, as it is under .7 ounces. I just thought that was weird! |

You should check that the book posted & requested is in fact a paperback. It may have been erroneously posted as a hardcover and that is why the system estimated the postage so high. I have never seen the estimated postage be off that much before.

my thought is that it was figuring first class instead of media mail, but glad to see it was the weight |
