Noriko is a young newlywed marrying Kazuhito. She learns that his household consists of eight other relatives. When she meets her new in-laws, she finds them very nice and caring, almost too nice and caring. Her husband absolutely adores her. But sometimes things are not what they seem. She awakens one night to find Kazuhito not in bed. Upon arising, she overhears the family discussing issues in the early morning hours and what is said leaves her confused. This happens several times and Noriko becomes worried as even more revelations and strange events occur. And why do so many people visit Grandma surreptitiously? What about all the poisonous plants in the garden? How exactly did their tenant and his family die? So many questions and no real answers. Good eerie suspense story along the lines of Rosemary's Baby and Rebecca.
