Ingredients
  • 1 Can Cream of Chicken -
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom -
  • 1 Onion -
  • 6 pork chops -
  • enough sliced red potatoes to cover bottom of crock pot -
Directions

Brown and season pork chops.  While browning chops, cut potatoes, season with prefered seasoning and put in crockpot.  Place chops on top of potatoes.  Open cans of cream of chicken and mushroom into pan that chops were browned in.  Dilute with a little water, enough to loosen goodies stuck to bottom of pan.  Pour over chops and potatoes.  Cut onion into rings and lay across top of chops.  Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours or until done.  Serve over rice.

We do eat it with both potatoes and rice. My husband loves rice with just about everything! The potatoes are still sliced and the gravy is really good over the rice.

Hi: This sounds really good, but do you use both potatoes (how many?) and then serve it over rice? Thanks for any help. Marian :)

Sorry, I forgot the potatoes. I just cut enough to cover the bottom of my crock pot, or use enough to feed whoever is eating. Just use your judgement.

My girlfriend taught me to make these only she omits the cream of chicken/ onions and adds canned mushrooms to the soup.
