I enjoyed these poems--had never read Maya Angelou before--but friend commented on facebook that she was reading Phenomenal Woman on her status line--so I went for it.

This book written by a southern author takes you to front porches, sweet tea, and languid afternoons. He is a character!

A love story seen through the eyes of a boy from another culture. I was intrigued by the relationship between the Japanese people and the Chinese boy who was observing and taking part in their story.
