All of the stories added something unique to this interesting anthology. For the most part, this book was enjoyable (and definately hot), but cramming thirteen short stories into 251 pages leaves the reader wanting more story. The story I enjoyed most was Cinderella (even though my favorite fairy tale is Beauty and the Beast.) The worst story, in my opinoin was Bluebeard. The Ugly Duckling was a sweet story but the hero and heroine don't ever have sex. Overall, I'd give this book a B/4 out of 5 stars.

The only thing I didn't like about these stories was that they didn't seem to be long enough. All three of these authors have a great talent.

The Eye of the World takes a lot of concentration and I'll be honest, I read it when I was sixteen and it took me four attempts to read it. This book is an epic fantasy and absolutely fantastic. It is the first book of a lengthy series. I can tell you that the first book is worth every bit of time you put into it!

This book was such a good book. I hadn't figured out the mystery by the end of the book which is unusual. It had great characters and a complex plot that wasn't overwhelming! I would highly reccomend it.

It was nice to see a series romance take place somewhere other than in the States or England. It was a very sweet book.

This is the second in the Harry Potter series. This book is amazing. Ms. Rowling gets better and better with all of her books! This is a great world that she has created and I don't want to see it end! If you haven't read this series, I highly suggest that you do!

I was very pleased with the way that J.K. Rowling wrapped up her series. Some say that she sold out with her happily ever after ending, but honestly, I'm happy with the way it all ended. In a way, I'm kind of relieved that there won't be anymore Harry Potter books. Rowling didn't over-use her characters and I was transfixed through the whole book. Granted, I didn't do anything else for two whole days..... It was a good investment and the Harry Potter series will always have a place on my keeper shelf.

The Goblet of Fire is the first unsafe book in the Harry Potter series. This is the first book where someone we care about dies. A student dies and that leaves the reader feeling, knowing, that the rest of the series is going to be just as nerve wracking. It makes you want to read the rest of the series all the way through; however, it makes you afraid to because of the unknown. This series is just too awesome! I reccomend it to everyone!

This book gripped me and didn't let up. I remember standing in line at Wal-Mart to get my copy. I read it later, but was fortunate enough to miss the mass amounts of spoilers everywhere (Thank GOD!!) However, when it came to that part, I was so upset I slammed the book shut and threw it against the wall...and then, immediately ran over to pick it up, check for damages, and finish reading it. I was heartbroken. This is what proves that J.K. Rowling is brave. She may not have hurt her central characters physically but there is no doubt that the students of Hogwarts have suffered.

The first book in the Harry Potter series. Harry finds out that he is a wizard and heads off to Hogwarts for his first year of magic learning. Little does he know that he will be become famous by the end of the year, and not just for what happened to him when he was a baby.

A Hoboken Hipster in Sherwood Forest is the sequel to A Connecticut Fashionista in King Arthur's Court. In this book, Chrissie Haywood is tossed back to the times of Robin Hood and his merry men. But what she finds is far from the stuff legend is made of.
She has been sent on a journey from Nimue to get a drop of the blood from the Holy Grail that King Richard is supposed to have. This will bring Kat and her group back to the 21st century. There's just one problem. King Richard is held prisoner in Austria and no one is sure of his return. So Chrissie hangs out in Sherwood Forest for the time being.
This book is much better than the first one. I think I was able to connect more with Chrissie than I ever could have with Kat. Overall this was a good book. It was light and funny at times. It was a nice escape to Sherwood Forest.

The Hunt by Allison Brennan is the second in her debut series. This is a story of one resilient woman and her drive to survive. Miranda was kidnapped, brutally raped and then hunted like an animal by her rapist. Miranda did the one thing that her predator didnt expect; she outran him and beat him at his own game. He was nicknamed the Bozeman Butcher and about every three years he hunts women. Unfortunately the police are always a few steps behind the Butcher and they cant find the lost women before he hunts them.
Miranda learned to trust and to love men again from Quincy Peterson, an FBI agent who worked her case. They could have been great together, but Quinn did something that Miranda could never forgive. He betrayed the trust that she had placed in him.
Quinn is back and more than anything he wants to catch the Butcher. He wants to make him pay for everything that he did to Miranda while she was his captive. Ten years ago, he did what he thought was best and he let the love of his life walk out of it. Now he has two goals in mind: first and foremost, capturing the Butcher, and winning back Mirandas heart and trust.

In the Highlander's Bed is a fast paced wonderful historical romance. Cathy Maxwell offers us a heroine who is by no means a damsel in distress and a hero who is deeply conflicted about the events unfolding in his life. He just didn't know it until he met her. Constance was born and raised in the Ohio valley of America. After the death of their father, she and her sisters move to London to reclaim their birthright as granddaughters to an Earl. Constance wants none of the pomp that comes with being a debutante in England. She longs for home and plans her escape from the school for girls that she has been forced to stay at.
Gordon Lachlan plans to kidnap Constance Cameron. Her brother by marriage, Duke of Colster, has in his possession a sword that belongs to Lachlan's clan, the Sword of the McKenna. Gordon believes that if he can get this sword in his possession, he and his clan will finally win victory over the English and Scotland will once again be theirs. Constance surprises Gordon by âjoiningâ his Cause and takes his small camp of clansmen by storm. She whips them back into shape and his clan is happier than they have been in months. What Gordon doesn't realize is that the sword will come at a much higher price than he realized. It will cost him his heart.
A/4 Romance: Hot

This book was a really interesting book. It had everything I could imagine or wanted when I was a child. This has become a keeper and I can't wait to get my hands on it's sequel. I'd suggest it to people who like fantasy.

Olivia St. Martin was only five years old when her world fell apart. Her older sister, Missy, was kidnapped from the park they were playing at one autumn day. Missy never came back. Olivia's mother eventually commits suicide. Her father becomes a shell of a man. Olivia is left to pick herself up and try to move on the best she can. Little Olivia St. Martin grows up and becomes the director of trace evidence for the FBI. Olivia believes she has achieved success. Her life is neat and orderly. Then the man she sent to prison is released based on DNA testing. He was not Missy's killer.
Zack Travis is a Seattle detective who has a serial killer on his hands. This serial killer kidnaps beautiful blonde little girls, sexually assaults them and then dumps their bodies in a public place for someone else to find. He doesn't want the Feds help on his case but he wants to stop this madman even more.
Zack and Olivia work hard to catch the creep who has killed over 30 little girls. On the way to justice, Olivia comes to mean so much more to Zack than just another cop. But can Olivia let down her guard enough to realize true love is knocking?
The Kill is the third book in Allison Brennan's debut series. The Kill had an interesting plot. A man is convicted of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a young girl based on circumstantial evidence and a child's testimony. But they were wrong and an innocent man has sat in prison for 34 years while the real killer has been free all that time. This was my 2nd favorite in the series. Both Zack and Olivia are haunted by a past neither one of them could control. This was a nice book to escape to because the good guys always win, but you're never quite sure until the end.
