I was intrigued by Walker's reverent irreverence in how he dealt with the interaction of paganism and Christianity. He is able to be somewhat playful about matters that are deadly serious. His place of employment can't be more than 10 miles from where I live...I gotta go dig him up and have a chat sometime. And I certainly plan to read more of his work.
