Ben Franklin's Almanac of Wit, Wisdom and Practical Advice: Useful Tips and Fascinating Facts for Every Day of the Year
Review Date: 1/29/2012

A great book, full of fun facts, inspiring quotes and even a recipe or two. A little like a Poor Richard's Almamnac (written by Ben Franklin himself) for our more "modern" times.

This was a great sweet story. It is excellent escape reading that also brings in issues of faith, commitment and family.

As a long time fan of Sara Evans as a singer and songwriter I was interested to see if she would also be a good novelist. I'm pleased to find that she is.

Highly recommend this book.

Think No Evil: Inside the Story of the Amish Schoolhouse Shooting...and Beyond

Good insight into a very difficult event. This book really helped me understand what was behind the forgiveness that the Amish seemed to offer so easily in the midst of this horrible tragedy.
