An excellent story, written by one of the most famous sci-fi authors of all time. A few years later he wrote 2001 A Space Odyssey. The only author to get a million dollar advance. A must read for sci fi lovers.

Off the record: The private papers of Harry S. Truman
Review Date: 9/27/2022
Helpful Score: 1

I have read several books about Truman and found this book to be extremely informative while also being entertaining. His writing style is straight forward and his opinions are plainly expressed.
I would recommend this title to anyone who is interested in Truman (both the man and the president) and the era in which he lived.
