From Goodreads: I've finished this book, but I'm not entirely sure what I've just read.
I enjoyed the story, the fairy-tale like quality of the prose. I don't feel like I've gotten very much satisfaction out of the reading of it.
I think I liked the idea of the tale more than the tale itself.
