Decorative dressmaking is full of clear text and illustrations to aid the intermediate and advanced seamstress in adding unique features to their garments. Dressmaking as an art is almost a lost art.
The book brings a fresh approach to traditional techniques. Ten chapters-each with a specific technique and a special project to allow one to explore and practice the technique and then be prepared to explore.
It is for the dressmaker who enjoys making clothes as much as wearing them. It is for the dressmaker who is fascinated by detail work and enjoys the time spent doing exacting work. The results.....a unique garment far beyond anything most of us can purchase off the rack.
