This book was actually suprisingly good. I bought the book for my wife's middle school english class but being a big football fan decided to read it. I have never found a book that actually did a good job of showing the strugles of being a high school athlete with a lot of pressure to preforme but this book did a great job. The author also did a good job of explaining aspects of the game of football for people who don't follow it closly, but he did so without becomming annoying to die hard football fans.

The book feels slow at times but does a good job of keeping you interested. The characters are all well written and well developed. A very good book.

The book is very well written and does an amazing job of viewing both sides of the prison reforme debate as well as showing what a corrections officer goes through on a day to day basis.

Overall a pretty good read. The characters develope well and the story has a good pace. The ending becomes pretty clear about 3/4 of the way through but still pretty fun.
