Busy Dinah Dinosaur contains four basic reader books. Each is really funny and deals with topics my 4 year old son can relate to. The books provide prompts on how to read with your child to get him or her to begin to feel empowered to read on his or her own. Thus, we can easily spend 15 minutes reading each book because we are looking at the pictures, pointing at the words, sometimes laughing and relating to Dinah or imagining a different scenario. Great beginning read!

My son and I really like this book, it is very imaginative. The little boy finds a dinosaur outside his bedroom window and then heads out on an adventure to return him home. It is a perfect bedtime book for a young dinosaur lover with a big imagination!

My 6 year old son loves this book! He is amused by the characters, Frog who is always happy and Toad who tends to be grumpy and he also appreciates the adventures and experiences that they have.

I like the book because it serves as an introduction to chapter books, the font size makes it easy to read and the stories highlight the value of friendship and love.

This is a cute book. My 4 year old son cracks up when I read it to him. He is as amused by the pictures as he is by the jokes. It is a good introduction to knock knock jokes.

The Three Musketeers : An Abridgement by Lord Sudley (Puffin Classics)
Review Date: 2/10/2012

I like this version because it maintains the poetic tone in which the original was written but wording is shifted slightly so that younger readers can understand it. I also appreciate that it has a bigger font.

It's a classic and my 6 year old is enjoying it more than the movie.
