I really enjoyed this book! Honestly, I didn't think it'd be that great. I read Vampire Kisses and didn't really like it much, I was sooo hoping that this book wouldn't be like it and THANK GOODNESS it wasn't! I honestly cannot wait to read the next books. I became interested in reading this author after reading her short story on Kisses from Hell. It had spoilers in that story so I kinda knew a few things that would happen. But this book is worth a shot!

I really love this series for a lot of reasons. The kids lives are really realistic (if you don't count the town full of raging vampires) in that they have everyday problems like everyone else. School, jobs, insecurities. I also really like that there is always consequences for their actions. It a series full of great characters. Each one strong in their own way and each book is a lot of fun.
The Kiss of Death book wasn't my favorite of the series though. I started out a little slow and didn't really pick up to the normal Morganville action level until about 1/2 way through. The gang gets passes to go out of town so that Michael can record in Dallas. The beginning of the book was more about the teens emotions and insecurities, the action doesn't start until they leave town. It was alot of fun to see them out of their normal Morganville context and still finding trouble where ever they go! Only this group of kids could get into more trouble OUT of Morganville than they do IN it!!
All in all, it was a good addition to the series, even if it did start out a little weak, and I'm as anxious as ever to see where the next book will take us.

So continues the story of Ever & Damen. Torn apart to be together again as the cycle continues over and over. They just CANNOT catch a break... Ever is at the point where she is now getting on my nerves. She did (towards the end) start coming around a little better, however, she ALWAYS manages to make everything about HER which is why I cannot blame Haven sometimes for saying what she does. Important Choices are made in this book and I cannot wait until I read Everlasting!

Absolutely loved the book. It sucked you right in, I finished it in 2 days (would've been 1 but I had to work lol). Calla is an Alpha female for her Pack (of werewolves aka Guardians), she is a strong character and I immediately liked her. She saves a guy in the woods although its something she's forbidden to do, little does she know how much of an impact that saving does to her life as she knows it. Great cliff hanger at the end, I cannot wait for the next book!

My goodness... This was BORING! I picked it up thinking th zombie mix would make it more interesting than the original - but I was sooo wrong. Both are boring.

This book was never published - hence it doesn't exist and no one will ever get to read it. What a shame... I would've loved to have read it...

I would have to agree with Michelle R. about this book. I give it 2 1/2 stars - it seemed very interesting at first, but then became rather boring and dull and I lost total interest. I fiund the talking dog things interesting, but then it completely bored me not even halfway through. Sorry Gerry - it just didn't captivate me...

Gripping tale of a teenage girl, Meredith, how is emotionally & psychologically scarred from being sexually abused at the hands of her father who is now getting out of jail early for good behavior. Her mother doesn't really care about her and considers her husbands pedophilia a "mistake". This book will pull you in and have you keep turning the pages to see what will happen next. I loved the ending. Very heart-wrenching, I found myself close to tears many times. Wonderful read 5 stars.

This was a pretty good book. I loved the concept, the story was good, BUT MY OH MY!!! Was this written by a 14 year old? No, sorry, maybe a 12 year old? The vast amount of spelling a grammar errors run rampant in this book. it got pretty annoying after a while. In fact on page 234 there were about 2 paragraphs that were duplicated on the same page... it would've gotten 5 stars otherwise, but I'm only giving it 4. Whoever the editor was needs to be fired, they did an awful job. But still the story was good enough for me to put the next book on my wishlist... Enjoy!

I am actually re-reading this book in this anthology. I had read them as a teenager in the late 90's and loved them. DO NOT try to compare this vampre book to any Twilight stuff or anything close to that, that is NOT what you will find here at all. Chrisopher Pike was a master of teen horror back in the day and I still have respect for his works. This book is mostly for High School Seniors and above as the stuff that goes on is rather explicit (not the sex, but the killing).
Sita is a 5000 year old vampire, thought to be the last of her kind... That is until she discovers that her creator is on the hunt for her again. She will stop at nothing to stay away from this monster...
This book includes: The Last Vampire, Black Blood and Red Dice.

Loved this book. Just re-read all six books so that I can read Thirst 3... For those of you that didn't know you can also get ISBN 9780671022907 - it's the same book, just published at an earlier date. Includes all 3 books that are in this copy - and no one has it wishlisted... I just posted and someone did request it, but you should add that ISBN to your wishlist as well.

I really enjoyed this story and am looking forward to the next book!
Eden ends up taking her life after thinking she's lost someone she loves very much... Only she wakes up after her suicide... Not dead, yet not quiete alive either... Even more, she can do things no one like her can do. Now forces of evil are after her. Is there anyone she can trust? Those she did betrayed her and those she's just met, well....

I actually really enjoyed the book. I have read the entire series and didn't hate book 9 as much as the others did. There was a lot of crazy sh*t going on here. Especially with the Marc Thing (I thought that would've ended differently), but it still piqued my interest enough to add Book 11 to my wishlist. IMO it wasn't a credit wasted, especially since you'll get it back what with the 200+ wishers still on here.
Betsy is still very selfish and very very self-centered. I'm hoping she will get a grip soon before she REALLY does some deep damage. However, I still give the book 4 stars.

This one was one of my favorites so far! I read the book in less than 2 days (I have to work too lol). I am so eager for the next book it is almost killing me! Finally saw a different side to Betsy - she's finally using her brain! Laura is getting scarier though and I have a feeling I know who followed them back (can't spoil that for you!). July cannot get here soon enough! I have to admit, I kinda forced myself through the first 4 books or so, but I love this series now. MJD - you are doing an excellent job! Keep it up!

While I agree that the book was a good premise, it just didn;t draw me in like most other books from this genre. I had to force myself to finish it. The characters were not very deep. 3 out of 5 stars in my opinion.
