Your Book Journal!
Journal - the PaperBackSwap book journal!
You can start a journal entry from your current "Books I've Read" list or search for a book and enter a journal entry right away.
Use our preconfigured questions and prompts to guide your journal writing, or write your own questions and prompts and assign them to one, some, or all of your entries to create your own journal-writing experience.
Choose whether your journal entries will be public or private (public entries appear on your profile page).
Your journal entry will be inseparable from the book's ISBN in your PaperBackSwap Spaces Book Inventory (see below).
Spaces Book Inventory - Where are your books?
Have too many books? The Book Journal knows you don't just use one bookshelf. With "Spaces" you can create as many spaces (and spaces within spaces) as you need to guide you accurately to a book when you need to find it.
A "space" can be anything -- create "My Home Library" as a space, and build other spaces inside of it: "Bookshelf on North Wall," "Bookshelf on South Wall," "Back of Toilet in Guest Room," "Under the Bed." Now you can click-to-walk right to the virtual spot your books are kept.
Book tracking has never been easier: did you post the book to PaperBackSwap? or did you lend it to your Aunt? Did a neighbor's kid use it for a homework project? Did your college roomie swear to return it back in 1979? With the new "Book Travel" feature, you'll be able to track when your book started to travel, and where it goes.
PaperBackSwap Exports - Your information: To Go!
Now that you have a book journal and a catalogue of your books and their locations, you'll want to do something with it: print it out for the fridge, post it to your blog. Use the export functions to configure lists that meet your needs and download them to your local computer.
