Erotic Paranormal romance from Ellora's Cave, and the same author of Femme Metal, Nathalie Gray. Two related stories, one historical and one contemporary. First, werewolf Frederick is held prisoner and tormented in his own castle (Austria) by his cousin, who wants something from him. Scarlet is hired to care for him. Except when Frederick comes to care for Scarlet, she becomes his weakness. How can Frederick free himself from his sadistic cousin, and still keep Scarlet's love. Loved this story! Exciting, Passionate, Scary! Then, in present day, Erica is hired by hunters to fly them to a remote Lodge. But the hunters have a hidden agenda. On her way back, Erica has to make an emergency landing, and there she meets Lothar. Lothar's self-loathing has put him in self exile as punishment for his past crimes. Can Erica love him if she knows all of his secrets? Then there's the small matter of the hunters. This story starts off a little slow, but gets way better. This book is a great read. Sex scenes are scorching.
