Since Tanith Lee is one of my favorite authors, I enjoy this book. It dragged a little very near the end, but it is one of her very early books. It was a flight of colorful images, and the story kept you interested. It had an interesting theme of love and death, indifference. Very human even the gods and demons. Of course Tanith Lee has some gay themes handle as they should be. My take is, It is better to love differently than to hate routinely. Pass that quote on. Joalice
