A very wonderful story - love and a growing trust between a woman and a man who has decided to become her guardian. But there is also betrayal, distrust and lust for wealth on the part of an unscrupulous person who wants to harm those who stand in his way of obtaining that wealth. Faith Beal must protect herself and her sister but she does not yet clearly understand the danger that stands in her way. Connell McClain understands part of the danger and decides to help - even when his help is not wanted.
