Peggy Millwright has been grieving since her husband, Peter died. She has spent the past two years in a state of despondency, rejecting any hope of leaving her pain behind. Then she finds a man lying on the beach outside her home on the New Jersey shore. He is confused and uneasyand claims to be a saillor who fell overboard in 1853. This is an incredible story. Peggy cannot help but be drawn to Owen Sinclair's innocence, rugged good looks, and fascination with the modern world around him.
