Colleen hasn't heard from her twin brother Stephen in more than 5 years when he suddenly shows up on her doorstep for a family birthday party. Her twin has been estranged from his family for years over his alternative lifestyle, When the party goes badly Stephan storms out of the house. Colleen, determined not to lose him again, drives Seattle home --- and finds out a truth she wasn't prepared for Stephen is very ill with the AIDS virus. Now she must deal with her own fears and past
and decide what she can and or will do now.

Bette Norberg graduated from the University of Washington as a physical therapist in 1977. In 1990, she turned from rehabilitation medicine to writing. Her medical background helps her writes with well informed details and vivid reality that really enriches her writing.
