Book Review of Spiced to Death (Gourmet Detective, Bk 2)

This is a good story, but very poorly executed. There are some glaring plot discrepancies - things such as referring to a second murder 2 chapters before it happened, mentioning hearing a gunshot from the first murder when it clearly stated a silencer was used. Also, certain parts are completely unbelievable such as the fact that our intrepid gourmet only meets stunningly beautiful women while in New York. If you enjoy food it might be worth reading but many of the food descriptions will make you hungry. If not, you would be better spending your time on a different book.
