This was my first Jeremy Robinson book, so I really didn't know what to expect.
From the first paragraph to the last word this book is non stop action. There is not a lot of character development but the concept of Hercules and the Hydra as actual living creatures which have survived until modern times is unique and interesting.
The high tech weapons are great and the action is well written and tense. As with most action thrillers there is a lot of luck involved in the heros' success. I thought turning Bishop into an imortal anti-hero was a really neat twist, as was the disappearence of the Herculean Society at the end. I will definitely read the next Chess Team book when I get a chance.
