A fascinating book both for persons new to dog stewardship and those who've cherished dog family members all their lives, as I have. The author is witty, devoted to his subject and knowledgeable with a capital K. If you are interested in dogs and why they do what they do and how, you'll love this book. Many fine historical photographs and illustrations throughout.
