The book is about Johnny and Racheal. Racheal used to be Johnny's teacher in high school. Johnny is a bad boy. He was convicted of rape and murder ten years ago. He gets out of jail. He gets a job with Racheal's help. Racheal and Johnny start to date. Then a murder takes place. All the fingers point to Johnny.
