I was thrilled at seeing this book and unthrilled when I started to read it. It was just sooo boring. I didn't get swept up into the story line the way I did with Derik's Bane or any of the other Queen Betsy books. I wanted to like it, but I couldn't bring myself to lie to myself about it. Sorry MaryJanice - I do love her other work though!
