This is a great story and book. John Falconer a rough, tough man of the world becomes a Christian.He witnesses to everyone about his faith. He falls in love with Serafina but it not to be.He goes on gold mine business for her father and ends up buying slaves to turn loose to the Moravians in Salem, NC The Moravians are strong Christians and be see that the slaves get up north to safety. For John, he thrives on mystery, intrigue and adventure.He falls in love witha little Moravian boy and the mother Ada, a widow makes her interest known to John. He has to decide if he is ready to settle down and marry Ada and her son. I could not put this book down.
