Holy crap this book was amazing! Continuous action from the first page right up until the stunning ending. I immediately felt sorry for Gwen and wanted to see her connect with Sabin, the Keeper of Doubt, who also has it rough. I really liked Sabin and Gwen is just perfect for him. Her harpy is the perfect complement to Doubt. The sex scenes are very intense and rough though not kinky - they just go after each other like animals.

I love the ongoing battle with Galen and the Hunters but man are they vicious and evil. It's ironic how fanatics are more evil than the ones they are persecuting. The battle draws out the goodness in these demon-possessed immortals. I love all the Lords but can't wait to read Torin's story. It'll be very interesting to see how Ms. Showalter gets around the whole plague thing.
